The Royal Oak Inn dates back to the 17th century and was originally built as a manager's house for the local bobbin mill. The inn has a wonderful traditional feel and the wood-panelled, fireside bar area offers a warm, homely environment. The lower lounge area is light and airy with an oak floor.
