Golf packages can be arranged and be upgraded to include transport, with airport transfers and/or packed lunches. Turas-Mara is totally Non-Smoking and has recently been tastefully refurbished. There is private parking at the rear. At the front there is a well tended garden which is overlooked by our dining room. For early departures a takeway picnic breakfast is available. It is a 5 minute walk from Ayr railway station and the town centre with its vast variety of amenities. Also within walking distance are Ayr Racecourse, Gaiety Theatre, seafront and the Scottish Bowling Centre. Turas-Mara is only 10 minutes by road from Burns Cottage, Burns Heritage Centre, Brig o'Doon and Alloway Auld Kirk.
