| Good points - "overpowering smell of pub-food throughout the building." | |
| Bad points - "Hotel on very busy main road, with traffic early in the morning - noisy. Check-in procedure was no more than being handed a key and told to find room at top of stairs. No asking for my name, no signing in, no front door key procedures, no breakfast times etc, the normal exchange of information when arriving at a hotel. Shower curtain rail came crashing down onto the bath shortly after I had my shower. When I mentioned this at check-out, rather than being met with an apology and reassurance that it will be fixed, all I got was 'Don't worry about it'. luckily I wasn't in the bath at the time, or I could have been injured. Marks on the wall indicated this was not the first time it had happened. Not impressed with soggy croissant at breakfast. Not worth the £54 I paid for my single room. I will not return to this hotel and will not recommend this hotel to others." | |
