| Overall - "I would certainly not visit for a romantic stay. The level of comfort and ambience in the rooms would not justify it. Business visit was fine though, as not too much time was spent in the rooms. We were disappointed as we expected a higher standard from a Best Western Hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful throughout our stay. It is very well located for the town centre and Conference Hall." | |
| Good points - "The food was very good, leisure and Conservatory facilities were clean and fresh." | |
| Bad points - "Decoration was very dated and gloomy throughout the main part of the Hotel, except the new bar and leisure area. Mattresses were old and worn, Carpets were worn and marked. The quality of workmanship on in house repairs very poor (bath seals, boxing in, painting, fixtures and fittings). Certainly cleaner looking in a non smokers room. Shower facilites were very weak spray heads." | |
| Value for money - Fair Check in - Good Room - Adequate | |
| Maintenance - Poor Cleanliness - Adequate Staff - Good Overall - Adequate | |
