The Bath House Hotel is ideally situated opposite the Tunnels Beaches, harbour, promenade and High Street. The Runnacleave Hotel had over 150 bedrooms and was very popular with the Victorians, not least because of the Tunnels Beaches opposite. During the Second World War, the Runnacleave Hotel was the Regimental HQ of the 3rd County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters).
