Description 2 Cottages - The farm is situated in an area of natural beauty with rolling pastures divided into patchwork by the tree lined hedges and oak woods. The area is ideal for walking with: the Macclesfield Canal and it's locks just up the road; the Manor Park and Lake; the Dane Valley; and the local hill called Bosley Cloud where there are views towards Buxton and the Peak District; Stoke on Trent and its famous Potteries; the Cheshire Plain to Beeston Castle and the Welsh Hills and to the north you can see Manchester. The Coach House is a 2 double bedroomed barn conversion offering the modern comforts of under floor heating with the features of beamed ceilings and stone floors. The Shippon is a 2 bedroomed shippon conversion offering the modern comforts of underfloor heating and features oak beams and an open fire. The local towns offer an insight into history with Macclesfield being a silk town and Buxton a Spa town. The area has a wealth of interesting houses to visit: Chatsworth House, Tatton Park with its Royal Horticultural Show (the country's answer to the Chelsea Flower Show).
