Description Kerrera is a wonderful South facing forest lodge situated in the beautiful Inverlever Forest at Dalavich adjacent to the shores of Loch Awe. The lodge sleeps 6 people and is the ideal location for a "get away from it all" holiday. You can take a walk in the forest, hire a boat and go fishing on the loch, or cycle around the forest trails. Whatever you choose to do, you'll have a relaxing and peaceful time. Formerly owned by the Forestry Commission Kerrera sits two hundred yards from the shore of loch Awe and is separated from the Loch by a large grass area providing a playing field for children of all ages. Dalavich village is less than 5 minutes walk away where local amenities include, a Post Office, shop, restaurant, bar and small café. Mountain bikes, canoes and fishing equipment are all available for hire in the village. | Accommodation Details Ground Floor: Open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with patio doors onto deck where you can enjoy open views of Loch Awe One double bedroom, one twin bunk bedroom and a bathroom with toilet, wash basin and shower. Short breaks are £60. per night a minimum of 3 nights, please contact the owner direct First floor: Upstairs you will find a 2nd double bedroom and an upper sitting area (or children’s play loft) offering wonderful open views across a small grass field to the loch and hills beyond. |
