Description After travelling through the splendour of the scenery of Sutherland in the Scottish Highlands, and viewing the famous Torridon peaks of Quinag, Canisp and Suilven, you arrive in the beautiful and remote location of Culkein Bay. Lochinver is the main shopping area ten miles away and has several interesting pubs and restaurants, as well as a comprehensive Visitor Centre. Assynt is the area south of Kylesku in West Sutherland, and is a land of mountains, rocks, lochs, wildlife, highland crofts, unspoilt coastlines, and a rich natural and cultural heritage. Experience some of the most dramatic and remote scenery in Europe as the roads wind around the isolated mountain peaks, passing through traditional crofting communities, and along spectacular coastlines.
