Callander, the gateway to the world-famous Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park (Rob Roy Country), lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and for easy day trips is close to Loch Lomond, Stirling, Glasgow & Edinburgh. For those who like to stay in town, a walk to Bracklinn Falls or up Callander Crags is a must, or see history in the Rob Roy Visitor Centre, relax in the local woollen mills, or browse through the many craft shops and potteries. Callander offers a number of pursuits for visitors, inducing fishing on Rivers Teith & Leny and on many local lochs, golfing on the town’s scenic 18-hole course, hill walking, cycling and bowling.
