It is well furnished and equipped for an enjoyable stay. Leisure facilities in the immediate area include:- sailing on the Rivers Alde and Ore and fishing; golf at both Aldeburgh and Thorpeness; public tennis courts; horse-riding and bicycle hire nearby. Wonderful boutiques and shops in Aldeburgh The world famous Concert Hall at and shops at Snape Maltings are just a short drive and bicycle ride away, as are the Meare Boating Lake at Thorpeness, and the RSPB Bird Reserve at Minsmere. Orford Castle 5 miles away is well worth a visit
