Description 2 Cottages - The cottages are set in the undulating wooded countryside of South Norfolk. There are many reasons why visitors enjoy staying here, not least of which is the peace and quiet of the countryside here-abouts although there have been comments about the volume of the 'dawn chorus' in the Spring! The lanes that lead here go nowhere else, but Hales Hall is at the hub of interesting places to visit. Three small riverside market towns Loddon, Beccles and Bungay are all within a few miles - where you can hire boats, go fishing, play golf or just rummage around the antique shops. Historic houses, gardens and specialist nurseries abound. Those with a taste for the sea have a wide choice, all within half an hour or so.
