Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, within walking distance of the set for "Sense and Sensibility", the accommodation at Little Barton consists of a large, comfortable, old fashioned Victorian farmhouse and a cottage/barn conversion in a courtyard of stone/slate buildings to the rear (not overlooking the farmhouse). Both houses have panoramic sea views. Run on organic principles, Little Barton is very close to the coast path, Atlantic beaches and wild, beautiful countryside.

There is plenty of wildlife living on the land surrounding the house, including badgers, hawks and hares, with the long access track full of wildflowers in summer. Hartland is a thriving community with many potters, craftspeople and artists and various courses run locally. The area is wonderful for walking, mountain boarding, biking, surfing and bird watching. Organic produce, well-raised meat and fresh fish is available in the village.
