The railway station is a short walk away giving 50 minute access to London. Oxford is 30 minutes by bus or car. The attractive market town of Thame is 3 miles away. National Trust’s Waddesdon Manor is eight miles away. Private courtyard car parking is available. The cottage is well stocked with books, videos, CDs and children’s games. The Chilterns (designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) are a short drive away. An excellent area for cycling, walking, culture and bird watching. Red Kites can be seen regularly flying over the village. The village shops, restaurants and pubs are just a short walk away.

Wychert Cottage is a beautifully converted bakehouse in the conservation area of Haddenham. Downstairs the cottage has a roomy lounge with semicircular dining area and separate Shaker-style kitchen. French windows open from the lounge onto a private patio. Upstairs bedrooms: one double and one twin, both feature original beams offering natural charm and character.
