Description A charming 2 bedroom character cottage tucked away up a quiet country lane offering superb views of Kendal and the surrounding countryside. Situated on the Dales-Way with numerous walks from the doorstep. The cottage has an abundance of character features including beams, stone flagged floors, shuttered windows, Belfast sink. Lovely private garden. Large upstairs lounge with twin French doors onto balcony. Excellent facilities and personal touches give the cottage a home-from-home feel. . Located 1.5 miles from the bustling market town of Kendal and 10 miles from Windermere. Skelsmergh is a rural hamlet with a church, several farms and a scattering of houses, but its close proximity to Kendal means it is far from isolated. Dairy Cottage is an ideal base for touring the Lakes and Dales. Dairy Cottage has two double bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom with roll top bath and a seperate shower cubicle. There is a large first floor lounge with balcony and views to the surrounding countryside. The kitchen/diner is well equipped and we provide a generous welcome-pack. Unfortunately the cottage isn't suitable for young children so we have a minimum age restriction of 10 years of age. Views: 129 |
