Description Inglecroft Barn is situated in the quiet village of Plumbland. Detached and set back from the road up a short lane it enjoys uninterrupted views over open farmland toward the Lake District Fells. Both spacious and homely it is ideally suited to larger groups enjoying family holidays, special celebrations, interest groups, reunions, wedding parties etc. Being situated on the edge of the Lake District and close to the beautiful sandy beaches of the Solway Coast makes it an ideal year round retreat from which to explore the spectacular scenery of the beautiful lakes, mountains and a wonderful coastline famous for its magnificent sunsets - glorious in the summer and dramatic in the winter. Inglecroft has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms comfortably sleeping 15. Inglecroft is arranged over 3 floors with access from the lower and middle floor. The room layout can be seen on our web site. Ground floor: Access from lower parking area Utility area with washing machine and sink Bathroom: Air spa bath, wash basin, toilet and electric shower cubicle x2 double bedrooms x1 double bedroom with en-suite (toilet, washbasin, bath with electric shower over) x1 family room - double + single stairs to: Middle Floor: also accessed from garden via large glazed barn door x1 family room - double + single x1 bunk bed +single Bathroom: Bath, toilet, wash basin The magnificent double height lounge with exposed original beams and cosy open fire is overlooked by the dining area on the gallery. There is a range of comfy seating for everyone. TV, CD, DVD a selection of books and games are available. Upper Floor: Dining room overlooking the lounge with large dining table able to cater for everyone. Kitchen: Well equipped kitchen incorporating electric cooker, fridge/freezer, fridge, dishwasher, tumble dryer, slow cooker, microwave, hostess trolley, toaster. Outside: Patio and lawned area with portable barbecue + parking for 4 - 5 cars Coal/logs provided Things to do: Throughout the year there are many fetes, fairs, shows and festivals including the award winning Solfest, the world famous Maryport Blues Festival and beer festivals held at Cockermouth and Silloth More energetic? Try a high wire forest adventure, water sports, paint balling, go karting, cycling, golf, wind surfing etc Lovely walks, lake cruises, relaxing on the patio, a visit to a museum..........Whatever your interests, there are a wealth of activities and attractions to suit all ages and abilities with a wide selection of info brochures in the house. Cask ale + hand pump/bottled ale can be supplied as we have a micro brewery. * We will require a 20% deposit of the balance when the booking is confirmed.
