Persawr y Mor and Awel y Mor are comfortable modern houses furnished and decorated in attractive beach house style situated in a quiet cul de sac in Tywyn where the mountains meet the sea on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. The houses back on to the beach and offer spectacular uninterrupted views over Cardigan Bay from the sunny first floor living room balcony and garden patio and direct access to the sandy beach, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, watersports and fishing. In the warmer months, seals and dolphins may be seen swimming near the shore - remember to bring your binoculars! The first floor living room boasts panoramic views over the bay and from the balcony you can watch the world go by.It has a TV with DVD and video, CD/radio and a collection of books and videos/DVDs - feel free to bring your own. The well equipped kitchen has mountain views while meals at the cosy dining table can be taken while watching the everchanging seas and skies through the picture windows. The double bedroom looks out to sea and gives access across the patio to the pedestrian promenade and beach while the second bedroom has full size bunkbeds making this house ideal for families as well as couples. Outside furniture is provided for both balcony and patio for al fresco dining or just watching the wonderful seascapes while the magnificent sunsets are breathtaking. Also available on Tywyn seafront is Apartment 1, Trem Enlli Apartments, a one bedroom first floor Victorian terrace apartment offering similar views of the beach and Cardigan Bay from the first floor balcony and having access to the sea front and promenade. Tywyn is a popular seaside resort with a seafront promenade and a comprehensive range of facilities within walking distance of the house while along the promenade you will find hard and grass tennis courts, putting green, crazy golf and a large children's play area with tearoom. Walkers are spoilt for choice with miles of scenic footpaths suitable for all abilities with walks ranging from gentle rambles to challenging mountain peaks right on the doorstep includind Cader Idris. The scenic Tallyllyn steam railway begins its journey here taking passengers into the Snowdonia National Park to visit the magical Dolgoch waterfalls or further to the old slate mining village of Abergynolwyn. For the golfing enthusiast there is a championship golf course in Aberdovey, 4 miles away. The surrounding area provides endless opportunities for cycling, horseriding or exploring by car with castles, gardens, museums and family parks all within comfortable driving distance. This is definitely a fabulous beach house in a wonderful location.
