Description Built in the 1800's out of Portland stone and with beams throughout, Anchor Cottage has alot of charm and character. This cottage offers a comfortable lounge/dining room, well equipped kitchen and the bathroom has a corner bath and a separate shower. There are 3 bedrooms comprising of 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single. The cottage also has front and rear gardens both with seating, a BBQ and off road parking for 2 vehicles. Centrally located on Portland in the original part of Weston overlooking the village green, it is a good starting point for many walks around the island. A couple of minutes walk away is a restaurant, public house, fish and chip shop, convenience shops and a bus stop, what more could you want!! Portland is steeped in history and along with its rugged beauty is a wonderful place to stay, especially if you enjoy watersports and outdoor pursuits.
