Description The Smithy is a charming cottage in immaculate condition (listed grade II). Situated in the square of the picturesque village of Chilham; A tudor square surounded by 15c timber framed houses with views of Chilham Castle. The village is surrounded by peaceful countryside: The Kent Downs, Woodland, Lakes and Orchards. In the village there are two pubs, a train station (short walk distance) bus stop, post office and farm shops. Easy access to many of Kent's attractions, such as The Cathedral City of Canterbury (6 miles). This property offers one double room located upstairs. Living room with open log fire, solid oak flooring. Seperate kitchen/diner. Upstairs there is a tiled bathroom with shower over the bath. Please note: the staircase is open on one side, small children to be supervised. Pets are not allowed in bedroom or carpeted staircase.
