Description Located on the banks of the River Wye within the historic cathedral city centre of Hereford, Castle Cliffe has been restored to provide luxury self-catering holiday accommodation for families and groups of up to six people. Castle Cliffe has a private riverside garden, four-poster bed and open fires. The house is perfectly situated on Castle Green, surrounded by parkland with views across the river to Bishop's Meadow. At the same time it is within two minutes walk of the Cathedral and town centre, enabling easy exploration of local attractions such as the Mappa Mundi and chained library exhibitions, as well as pubs, restaurants, shops, cinema and theatre. The city is surrounded by beautiful countryside with easy access to the Wye Valley Walk as well as many other scenic paths. We are also close to the spectacular countryside of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons, with Malvern, Ludlow, Ross-On-Wye, Hay-On-Wye, a range of Welsh Border castles and the historic ruins of Tintern Abbey all within easy driving distance.
