The Jays is one of Aberdeen's prestigious guest houses and is the only one to have been awarded 4 Stars by the Tourist Board and the AA. In addition it is the only one to be recommended by both Frommers and Foders,- US Guides to UK. The ten recently refurbished and tastefully decorated bedrooms have either en suite(8)or private facilities(2). They all have satellite TV, tea/coffee,clock radio and complimentary WiFi internet connection is provided for use with personal laptops. The Jays is totally non smoking and there is a private car park. The Jays is situated close to the city centre and business parks. Ideally located for both business or leisure pursuits. Overall - "Very comfortable and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this guest house."
Good points - "Wonderful hosts and cleanliness in par excellence. Free wireless internet connection a bonus."
Bad points - "Not really a bad point, but no facility for evening meal. However very close to centre of town where there are numerous and varied restaurants. Alice and George were very helpful in pointing to the better ones."
