Description
Brightlingsea Motel opened in April 2006 and is owned by Steve & Nicky Breeden. The Motel is situated in the heart of the town centre and is next door to St James Church. Brightlingsea is only 15 minutes by car to Colchester and 20 minutes to the seaside town of Clacton. Brightlingsea has wonderful traditional shops, most major banks, plenty of public houses and cafes. The Motel is only a five minute walk to the seafront which is being further developed to boast more shops, housing and points of interest. If you are interested in Sailing, Power Boating and Water skiing, or if you would like to learn, you can take courses at the local RYA Training Centre. Brightlingsea also has great cycling and walking routes. Brightlingsea caters for just about everyone, whatever your interest.
The Motel has its own private courtyard accessed by electronic gates and has parking available. There are 6 en-suite bedrooms, 1 single, 1 twin, 3 doubles and 1 family room which also features disabled facilities.
All the rooms have a colour theme which is accentuated by fabrics and lighting. The rooms boast pocket sprung beds with luxurious duvets to sink in too. The bedrooms feature flat screen TV’s with over 80 channels to choose from, hairdryers, refreshment tray and wooden flooring. The bathrooms are white ceramics through to the floors and walls and mosaic glass tiles follow through your themed room. The power showers are housed in beautiful glass doors and the whole room is fresh and invigorating.
Breakfast is included in the room tariff and cereals, fruits, toasts, ground coffee and fresh orange juice are all available. A full English breakfast is also on the menu which is always a great way to start your day. Breakfast is served in the spacious conservatory with a great friendly service on hand. The day’s news is always available for you to read whilst enjoying your breakfast.
We can cater for any occasion, whether it is a quiet weekend away or a group booking for a Wedding or family party. Business guests are always welcomed and the Wi-fi internet access is a valuable facility for those who need to carry on working after hours.
