This Wonderful 3 double bedroom 17th Century rye self catering rye holiday cottage is in the heart of medieval Rye. It is situated up in an ancient pedestrianised lane directly off Mermaid street,one of the most famous and photographed cobbled streets in England! You are also a stones throw from the famous Mermaid hotel and the Hope and anchor Hotel. This 4 diamond rated rye holiday cottage has a wealth of original features and is heavily beamed throughout.
On the ground floor there is an entrance hall leading to:
A fully fitted kitchen which includes a cooker, microwave and washer dryer.
A downstairs shower room and toilet
A ground floor double bedroom with an antique french bed and ample cupboard space
A large ding room with a lovely original fire place and furnished with an antique french dining table and chairs.
There is also a side door leading into a side passage with a detached utility room and stairs leading to the raised garden. A fabulous walled cottage garen that most of the residents of central Rye would die for !This can also be accessed from bedroom 3 on the 1st floor.
From from a winding staircase in the dining room you enter the first floor (garden level)
which opens into:
the lounge which is tastefully furnished with leather sofa's and is equipped with a television
dvd player and video.
A double en suite bedroom with antique bed and ample cupboard space.
A further double bedroom again with an antique bed and a door with direct access to the garden.
Note:We do accept dogs but any damage or stains etc will be charged for from the credit card given when originaly booking.
