Description
Manor Grange is a 4-star Bed & Breakfast offering comfortable en-suite accommodation in a quiet rural hamlet on the Northamptonshire/Oxfordshire border, yet only 5 minutes from the M40 and 20 minutes from the M1.
A delicious full English breakfast, with local free range eggs and homemade preserves, is included in the overnight price and a home cooked 3 course dinner and packed lunch are available by prior arrangement, or we can recommend several excellent local pubs and restaurants.
Silverstone circuit is under 15 minutes drive, for race meetings or driving experience days. The market towns of Brackley and Buckingham , Bicester, with its designer outlet village, Banbury, Oxford and Milton Keynes as well as Stowe Landscape Gardens are all within easy reach. Cottisford also makes an ideal base for visiting the Cotswolds, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Royal Leamington Spa, Blenheim Palace and Warwick Castle. For more adventurous visitors, Tanks-a-lot for tank driving courses and Hinton in the Hedges Airifield for parachute jumps are only 15 minutes away.
There are public footpaths directly from the house and you can walk to some of the places mentioned in Flora Thompson’s book From Larkrise to Candleford. and there is a pretty garden for guests' use when the weather is fine. There is also ample off-street parking.
