Description
The Old Town Hall was built in 1862 and originally used for social gatherings in the village. In 2005 it was opened as a luxury B&B(Rated 5*Siver by Visit Britain) with 3 Rooms and a Tea Room. It has recently been upgraded with the addition of a Guest's Lounge and a luxury bedroom with a double size jacuzzi bath and separate body jet shower. Both ensuite rooms have super king size beds and all rooms have fridges,quality flat screen TV/DVD players as well as hairdryers, bathrobes, Champney's products, small bottles of red and white wine and hot beverages.
Redmire is a peaceful and tranquil village set in stunning sceneryu with beautiful views all around. Bolton Castle is only 1/2 a mile away (visible from the lounge window) and the famous Aysgarth Falls are 3 miles across the fields and 5 minutes by road. Redmire is perfectly located for walkers with a multitude of public footpaths, the village of Reeth just over the hill and close to the Herriot Way and Coast to Coast walks. We now also offer evening meals in the dining room or the lounge, ideal after a hard day in the hills.
For cyclists we are on the yorkshire Dales Cycle Way and amidst ideal cycling country for all abilities.
