Farnley Tower has been extensively renovated under the current owner''s personal supervision in order to incorporate all the intricate detail of the Victorian era whilst providing all the facilities provided by a modern city-centre hotel. If you are travelling or working, Farnley Tower provides a quiet haven in which to relax. Whether having a quiet drink in our lounge/bar area or relaxing in our gardens, our aim is to cater for individual needs. We provide luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in 12 en suite bedrooms some with views over Durham Cathedral and Castle. Good points - "Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Spectacular views and very friendly staff. The room we received was a superior ans was beautiful. The breakfast was delightful made from local farmyard produce."
