Description
Grand, centrally located 4 star Guest House built in 1896, but fully redecorated and refurbished to offer 6 en-suite bedrooms, a comfortable guests' lounge and parking.
All of the bedrooms are en-suite with the usual facilities - fluffy towels, flat screen digital colour tv, refreshment tray, alarm clock, hairdryer and wineglasses. Unusually, we have retained our spacious ground floor guests' lounge with digital colour tv and DVD player and maps and guides to the area to help plan your stay in the Lake District.
Our hearty breakfasts are cooked to order and include locally made Cumberland sausage and free-range eggs delivered from the local farm. There are lighter or vegetarian alternatives too, with meat and non-meat items cooked and served separately. In addition there is a selection of cereals, grapefruit and fruit juice with fresh toast and a plentiful supply of tea, coffee or herbal infusions.
For everyone's safety and comfort we are non-smoking throughout.
We have some private off-road parking and there is free parking on Holly Road.
