Welcome to Thaxted B & B - 15 minutes from Stansted Airport with pubs, shops, restaurants and buses to Airport a few minutes walk away in the beautiful historic town of Thaxted. Early morning departures no problem as breakfast is taken in your own suite - ideal for a stop over for the airport, the business man looking for a Monday-Friday base or a relaxing weekend break.The accommodation comprises each suite with: private sitting room with comfortable furniture, TV/Video, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Bedroom with clock-radio, hairdyer and ensuite shower room.
A Continental breakfast is taken self service at the breakfast table in your own room - no need to rush for breakfast - ideal for early departures - just leave your key in the box when you leave.
The suites are housed in a converted stable block with a courtyard aspect to one side and a 2 1/2 acre meadow to the other. They areaccesed from a west-facing communal conservatory, where you will find seating to enjoy the wonderful sunsets that Thaxted has to offer.
Check-in time from 2p.m. with late arrivals by arrangement. We can sometimes accommodate early arrivals - please ask. Credit card details secure your booking with a 48 hour cancellation period - full payment for a no-show on the day.
