| Good points - "About 20 minutes to M48 yet handy for all the Forest attractions. The rooms upstairs are spacious, comfortable and quiet at night. At the back are some of the finest trees imaginable and a dry stone wall that merits a twenty minute inspection for those interested in lichens." | |
| Bad points - "Access to the upstairs rooms is not suitable for anyone with a walking disability. The bar and dining areas could do with some refurbishment under the new non-smoking regime." | |
